In 2016, I was commissioned by the social housing corporation deltaWonen to create a community art project in the lobby of the Wade Belvedere residential complex in Stadshagen, Zwolle. It was a wonderfully enjoyable project with a lasting result: a cheerful, sunny entrance that is still in use today.
Last fall, I was approached again by deltaWonen and Foundation Het Werkt Sociaal , asking if I would like to contribute ideas and work on a community art project in Zwolle Zuid.
This Saturday, April 25, I’ll be giving a presentation during the Orange Fair between 4:00 and 6:00 PM in the courtyard of Regentenstraat under the title: ART IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD.
The goal is to recruit engaged and creative local residents who want to join this project. As part of the core group, you can help brainstorm and work on creating a beautiful artwork on the walls in this neighbourhood.
We need at least 6 participants to start this project.
