I designed two set designs on behalf of the Wresinski cultuur stichting. I designed the set for the performance ‘Lazarus’ in such a way that it could be made in co-production with the participating actors, volunteers and the production team. For the performance ‘Omdenkers‘ I made the overall design and executed it with additional technical support from the production team. Only the set cloth was outsourced after design.
The Wresinski Foundation makes high-quality Theater and Music productions under the credo culture as a weapon against poverty. Experts in poverty work together with experienced theatrical producers and musicians. In a creative and poetic way, the performances provide insight into and demonstrate how poverty in our society affects human dignity. Underlying mechanisms are exposed.
Decor ontwerp- Ik heb In opdracht van de Wresinski cultuurstichting twee decors ontworpen. Het decor voor de voorstelling Lazarus heb ik zo ontworpen dat het in coproductie gemaakt kon worden met de deelnemende acteurs, vrijwilligers en het productieteam. Voor de voorstelling ‘Omdenkers‘ heb ik het totaal ontwerp gemaakt en uitgevoerd met extra technische ondersteuning vanuit het productieteam. Alleen het decordoek is na ontwerp uitbesteed.
De Wresinski stichting maakt hoogwaardige Theater- en Muziekproducties onder het credo ‘cultuur als wapen tegen armoede’. Ervaringsdeskundigen in armoede werken hierbij samen met ervaren theatermakers en muzikanten. Met de voorstellingen wordt op creatieve en poëtische wijze inzichtelijk en invoelbaar gemaakt hoe armoede in onze maatschappij menselijke waardigheid aantast. Onderliggende mechanismen worden blootgelegd.
